Private Swim Lessons to Teach Individuals to Swim Confidently and Safely

Private Swim Lessons for toddlers, children, and adults. Amanda has been teaching students how to swim for over ten years, taught over 5,500 private swim lessons, and worked with hundreds of students.

Connecticut lessons are offered at Amanda's private heated pool in Wethersfield, CT (CT travel lessons are subject to availability). Manhattan lessons are travel lessons in a client-provided pool.

Your pool (with Maura the Travel Instructor) - subject to availability, travel distance, and pool requirements - please contact Amanda. Travel lesson bookings are pending approval.

RATES?*

At Amanda's Pool (CT):

30 Minute Lesson, 1 Swimmer - $70

60 Minute Lesson, 1 Swimmer* - $125

30 Minute Lesson, 2 Swimmers - $95

60 Minute Lesson, 2 Swimmers - $175 

​

*If you have two swimmers doing 30 minutes each, book as "1 swimmer, 60-minutes" so it is discounted $15!*

​

*Swimmers can only be taught in the same lesson if they are at the same level/age. Students with varying skill levels CANNOT be taught together for safety and their learning benefit.

HOW CAN I PAY?

When you book online, you have the option to pay with PayPal or a credit card.

OR

You can pay in person with cash, check, Zelle or Venmo.  

 

What if the weather is bad on the day of my lesson?

Unfortunately, we can not control the weather!

Thunder, extremely cold, and/or rainy conditions will cause lessons to be canceled for safety.

YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED!

We will reschedule and hope for a sunny day!

If the weather is forecasted to be bad, I will contact you to cancel.

CANCELLATIONS:

Life happens; if we need to reschedule, no problem.

If cancellations become a pattern, I will need to charge for the missed lesson.

Please notify me as soon as you know that you will be unable to attend your lesson.

NO SHOWS will be charged.
